Malcolm Bernstein

Malcolm Bernstein is a consultant with expertise in organizational and leadership development, human resource management, executive search and strategy. Malcolm’s extensive career includes executive positions with the private and public sectors in: Human Resources, Information Technology, Sales and Marketing, and partnerships in Organizational Development and Executive Search with a major human capital management firm.

Throughout his career, Mr. Bernstein has worked closely with numerous Boards as an executive and facilitator of strategic discussions. This includes: Conducting Board development workshops; facilitating strategic planning committees throughout the development of long-term corporate plans; and conducting presidential searches for leading institutions and agencies.

Mr. Bernstein is Chair of the Toronto Humane Society and of its Governance Committee; has served on the Board of the Strategic Leadership Forum and launched and chaired the Social Sector Council; and served on a local hospice board. He is founder of The Benjamin Project, a non-profit initiative dedicated to education on responsible pet and animal stewardship and fundraising for animal shelters and sanctuaries. Mr. Bernstein has performed voluntary and pro bono work with UJA Federation, Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care, Wellspring Cancer Support Centres, Lupus Foundation, Hospice Thornhill and Starlight Foundation.

Malcolm received his BA in Economics from McGill University and his MBA from the Ivey School of Business. He holds a Certified Management Consulting designation. He is functionally bilingual. He may be contacted at: mbernstein@corporateclassinc.com
