Executive Presence Advanced 2-Day Workshop
This Workshop builds on previous Leadership Skills and Executive Presence Workshop training. The curriculum focuses on former participants’ requests to expand and enhance their leadership development through heightened self-awareness and specific skill development. Limited to 12-participants.
Communication Skills Training: Micro-facial Expressions
“The Body Language of the face”
The tiny nanosecond or microsecond facial movements that betray real emotion are known as Micro-facial Expressions. The ability to look deeper than “taking someone at face value,” hinges on the understanding that facial expressions are not always as they first look or seem.
Why master Micro-facial Expressions?
- Detect clues that something is “off”
- Identify a concealed emotion
- Get to the truth faster
- Recognize a disparity between what is being said — and what the speaker is really thinking
Center for Body Language, Belgium
CCI is officially Certified for Micro-facial Expression Training by the Belgium-based Center for Body Language, rated as the world’s number one training institute for business body language education.
The ability to read Micro-facial Expressions is an essential element of Executive Presence but without specific training, it’s almost impossible to interpret or read someone’s Micro-facial Expressions. The ability to read and translate these minute movements leads to the ability to detect:
- That something is “off”
- A disparity between what is being said – and what the speaker is really thinking
Prior to the Workshop, participants receive a video link to explore the first level of this very specific and specialized training.
During the Workshop, participants receive highly specialized instruction and practice identifying the 7 universal Micro-facial emotions:
Practice to Perfect: Micro-facial analysis
Under the direction of CCI facilitators, participants develop the ability to read “flash” messages and to interpret what is actually being said.
Communication is Pivotal
In addition to this the Micro-facial Expressions component, Communications training features:
- Building on the ability to read what’s not being said
- How to shift a conversation or discussion
- Power words to bring solution and inclusion
